Waimea Parks & Gardens
Waimea Canyon was once nicknamed the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" by Mark Twain. The majestic canyon, which boasts colors such as red, purple, blue and green, is approximately 10 miles long, 3,600 feet deep and one mile wide. Opportunities for nature walks and picnicking are marked.
Polihale State Park
The park area provides opportunities for picnicking, tent and trail camping, swimming and shore fishing. Visitors will experience colorful sunsets and scenic views of the sea cliffs of Na Pail Coast.
Russian Fort Elizabeth State Historical Park
Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the 17-acre grounds located on east bank of Waimea river mouth.
